My name is David Kretzmann, and as you might have guessed, I created DavidKretzmann.com. Let me give you a little background on myself. I am 16 years old, have invested in individual stocks since I was 12 years old, and I have been writing about business, economics, and public policy since 2007. My interest started in stocks alone, but gradually built into economics and public policy. For me, it didn't make sense to invest in a business when you didn't know how public policy was impacting the economy and, therefore, the business that you choose to invest in.

I've always enjoyed analyzing everything. Whether it be American history, stocks, or public policy, I like to get the full details of every topic imaginable, because I feel that without a clear understanding of this complex world we live in, we can't make smart decisions about business, economics, and public policy, all of which fuel (or at least are supposed to fuel) our society.

This is why I've started DavidKretzmann.com. Simply put, I want to have an environment that encourages people to get involved with analyzing anything within the realm of business, economics, and public policy. (Can I possibly say those three words any more?) Whether it be local politics or the world economy; you name it, we want to analyze it. So, please join us on the Forums, check out the Freedom Chatter blog, and all other areas of the site. Comment, discuss, and analyze anything and everything that interests you.

Regardless of your political, social, or economic views, I hope you decide to stick around and discuss, analyze, and explain your opinions. Only with thorough analysis, discussion, and asking plenty of questions can we begin to get a better view of everything that's happening today, as well what lessons we can take from history to increase our understanding of why things work and happen the way they do.
